Positions: 1986--1991 Assistant Professor, 1991 -- 2014 Associate Professor (Docent) at the Department of Geometry of the School of Mechanics and Mathematics at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. 2014 -- 2015 Head of the Department of Geometry. Since April 2016 until now -- Head of the Department of Pure Mathematics of the School of Mathеmatics and Computer Sciences at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
Other: Visiting Professor at the Texas A&M University (January-May 2006, USA); visiting Professor at the University of Waterloo (January-February 2016, November 2021-January 2022, Canada); member of the Academic Council of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science; member of the Academic Council of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University; member of the Editing Board of "Journal of Mathematical Physics, Analysis and Geometry".
Research interests: Geometry of submanifolds of fibered spaces, particularly geometric properties of vector fields and sections of vector bundles . The author of 48 publications (articles and talk abstracts). Participant of 20 International Conferences, particularly in Debrecen (Hungary 2000, 2002, 2004 ), Warsaw (Poland 2002), Varna (Bulgaria 2005 ), Bryan (Texas, USA 2006), Haifa (Israel 2008, 2013) .
Teaching activity: Lecture courses: Analytic and Differential Geometry, Topology, Geometry of Fiber Bundles. Electronic manuals are uploaded to the website of the University Libruary. The advisor of more than 40 Master’s Theses; the advisor of PhD Thesis by O. Shugailo "Structure of submanifolds in affine space with degenerate affine fundamental form (2014).
