International collaboration
The faculty of the Department of Pure Mathematics is involved in various international scientific activities and has a large number of research and academic contacts with universities in the UK, Germany, Spain, Sweden, the USA, China, Slovenia, Turkey, Hungary.
During 2018-2019 the faculty:
- participated in 14 conferences worldwide outside Ukraine
- had 15 research stays at universities abroad
- gave 1 lecture course at a foreign university
- participated in 4 international research projects
- participated in 2 Erasmus+ programs
- 1 PhD student received the Leonard Euler DAAD grant
During 2020 the faculty:
- participated in 6 conferences worldwide outside Ukraine
- had 5 research stays at universities abroad
- participated in 2 international research projects
- participated in 3 international academic programs
- 1 PhD student received the Leonard Euler DAAD grant
- participated in 2 international grant awarding committees
- were reviewers of 1 PhD thesis at a foreign university
