| 546 students from 45 countries participated in the International Mathematics Competition for University Students 2020 which took place from 25 until 30 July 2020 and was organized by University College London (more information at https://www.imc-math.org.uk ). |
Students of the Department of Pure Mathematics successfully participated in the competition
Volodymyr Riabov, a fourth-year student, won one of the first places.
Olga Shevchenko, a third-year student won the second place,
taking lead over students from Stanford University and M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University.
